Music

We have developed a curriculum with the Artforms music service for KS2 pupils and we follow a scheme of learning ‘SingUp’ for EYFS and KS1. This allows for a sequential curriculum where learning builds from lesson to lesson and year on year.

Hunslet Moor aims to develop children into independent learners and have the opportunity to be creative. We aim for children to feel empowered in their music lessons and we focus on developing the skills, knowledge and understanding that children need in order to become confident performers, composers and listeners. Our curriculum introduces children to music from all around the world and teaches children to respect and appreciate the music of all traditions and communities.
