Our School Day

For our Reception to Y6 pupils the school day starts at 8.45am and ends at 3.15pm Monday-Friday. Providing 32.5 hours a week of time in school.
For our Reception to Y6 pupils registration opens at 8.45am and closes at 9am
The official end of the compulsory school day for Reception to Year 6 pupils is 3.15pm. After School Clubs run Monday - Thursday (not compulsory but every child is welcomed and encouraged to attend). Please see our After School Club page for more information.

School Assemblies
Parents and carers are welcomed to our Celebration assemblies on Thursdays (KS1) and Fridays (KS2). We will contact the parents of children who have been awarded a special prize/star of the week and invite them to attend.
Collective Worship happens daily for all pupils, please see our Collective Worship Policy

Wednesday

KS1 and KS2 ethos/key events assembly led by a Senior Leader or KS1 and KS2 Class ethos assembly led by class teachers.
Friday

KS2 Achievement/ Attendance Assembly led by a member of the leadership team.

Nursery and Reception children have free play through continuous provision.

Drop-off and collection
At the beginning and the end of the school day, parents and families are welcomed into our playgrounds. This helps to build a close relationship between home and school – we want to have strong links with all of our parents and families. If normal arrangements have to be altered (e.g. you are delayed or another person is collecting your child), please let us know prior to collection. This avoids any confusion or upset.
Home time
Doors open at 3.15pm
We need to know who is collecting your child at all times. If we do not recognise the adult collecting a child, we will not allow your child to go home with this adult until we have had confirmation from a known adult. Please always let staff know if somebody new will be collecting your child.
