My experience comes from both the legal and education sectors. I have worked with some of the most vulnerable families and from this, my passion and commitment came to wanting to help children gain access to every possible opportunities which are available to them.
I have grown and lived in Beeston my entire life and I am therefore familiar with the vibrant and dynamic community which surrounds Hunslet Moor Primary School. At the same time, I am also aware of the challenges which face our community and therefore, I am aware of the steps which need to be taken to help members of the community, along with the children, to overcome these challenges. My commitment to wanting to help children achieve their potential at Hunslet Moor Primary School further stems from my own nieces attending.
