I am currently working as a Head of year at a large three-form entry School in Harehills, Leeds and have been a Primary School teacher for the past ten years. Having taught in all year groups Nursery – Year 2 over this time, I have substantial knowledge of both EYFS and National Curriculum. I have also been a part of moderations, OFSTED inspections and SATs. I am extremely passionate about children’s learning and making it as fun as possible so that children retain their knowledge.
I have grown up in Beeston so have a good understanding of the community Hunslet Moor Primary School serves. I believe that becoming a Governor at Hunslet Moor will be a fantastic learning opportunity for me as well as a way to give back to the School which my daughter currently attends and my son will attend in the future.
